Here at Freshfields we are particularly proud of the healthy, nutritious, delicious home-cooked meals, prepared at the Nursery. Unlike many establishments, all of our food is prepared on site, by our resident team of professional chefs, in our commercial kitchens.
Having our own chefs at the Nursery means that we can provide a huge array of dietary requirements suited to a child's individual needs.
As part of our support for our local community, we strive to source our food from within a few miles of the nursery, using locally grown and organic ingredients whenever possible.
We are proud to have our culinary achievements recognised every year by The Warwickshire Heartbeat Co-ordination Group, which is headed by the District and County Councils. Freshfields Nursery has been awarded a Gold Heartbeat Award for providing Healthy Food Choices, with excellent standards of food hygiene, for the past 8 years.

Homemade chilli con carne with brown and white rice with hidden vegetables
Homemade orange and sultana wholemeal sponge cake and custard
